Undergraduate researchers
Projects can begin with a focused reading plan and a concrete computational or theoretical question. Preparation in probability, analysis, optimization, or numerical methods is helpful.
I am actively recruiting undergraduate students, graduate students, and postdocs to join my research group. Interested candidates are encouraged to email yipinglu [at] bicmr.pku.edu.cn.
Strong candidates may come from mathematics, statistics, computer science, operations research, engineering, or related fields.

We welcome students interested in machine learning theory, applied probability, computational mathematics, scientific machine learning, and generative inference.
Postdoctoral projects should connect a clear mathematical contribution to an important computational or scientific problem.
Include your current program or position, relevant mathematical and computational preparation, and links to a CV, transcript, or representative work when appropriate.
Identify one direction or paper from this site that genuinely interests you and explain the question you would like to explore.
